Avenue Work

At the heart of Avenue are work teams that will empower you to engage in and take ownership of running a microbusiness. Microbusinesses are small businesses that deliver services to like minded business partners, who believe in building an inclusive economy.

When you join Avenue, you can choose from a number of different microbusiness teams, based on your interests and goals. Microbusiness teams are led by a Team Coordinator, a Lead Senior Support Worker and assisted by a group of Support Workers.

Each team earns a small profit each month, which is then shared equally among all team members in a profit-share model. Your profit-share recognises your contribution to your team, and is yours to spend as you like. We’ll support you in researching the items you wish to buy and help you set savings goals. Once you’ve have built up the necessary funds, we’ll support you in making your purchase.
