Avenue Social is not your typical disability day program!
Through Avenue Social, you can access the events and activities you choose, build important skills and make friends for life! The Avenue Social calendar is put together with the help of you – our participants. Our support workers get to know you and understand your likes, dislikes and needs to make sure you have a great day. In any given week, you might go for a trip outdoors in the fresh air, take an exercise or music class, head to sporting, musical or cultural events, or enjoy adding new things to the calendar.
Learning and skill development
Avenue support workers are specially trained to spot opportunities to develop your skills and integrate learning into the day’s activities. Some of the skills our participants choose to focus on include independence, confidence, money-handling, communication, and road safety awareness.

Using your NDIS funding
Avenue is a registered NDIS service provider and you can use a range of NDIS line items to attend, including:
- Core Supports (Social and Community Participation and Daily Living)
- Capacity Building
- Finding and Keeping a Job.
He is gaining so much more confidence since starting at Avenue and the social opportunities provided to him are fantastic. So glad we found Avenue.
The support workers at Avenue go above and beyond, they are so supportive and are changing Nickolas’s life. They have helped with every aspect of his daily routine and learn more independence.
Avenue provides a safe place for him to attend a couple of times a week, learn new skills, meet new people, feel engaged and valued.
